Educational milestones for Coldstore Gdańsk employees

Three employees of our Polish subsidiary, Coldstore Gdańsk, recently celebrated important educational milestones. One of them completed a PhD in Quality Management.

Coldstore Gdańsk specialises in the storage and handling of frozen food products, primarily seafood, and operates a cold storage facility and veterinary border inspection post at the port of Gdańsk. The cold storage facility has a storage capacity of up to 30,000 pallets, located in four cold storage chambers at five levels of a movable high stacking racking system.

Coldstore Gdańsk has always encouraged its employees to advance by pursuing new skills and education. Recently, three employees at the company celebrated important educational milestones by completing university degrees.

Human Resources Business Partner Adrianna Nurek completed the multi-month People Business Partner Academy course, organised by Eduwersum Collegium Rozwoju HR.

Aleksandra Kisiel, who is a Finance & Business Intelligence Analyst, completed a one-year Postgraduate Program in Taxes at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, as well as Chief Accountant training.

Tomasz Grybek, the Chief Quality Officer at Coldstore Gdańsk, completed his PhD in Quality Management at the University of Gdansk last year. His doctoral thesis, titled "Food safety culture self-assessment model and its empirical verification" focused on food safety culture. Grybek, a trained economist with a focus on transport and logistics and who had previously completed both a bachelor's and a master's degree, began his PhD studies in 2020.
